Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset is better-sounding headphones. However, the bass response of the Bose Gaming Headset is great. Bose is the brighter sounding gaming headset, but the most significant difference was how they sound with bass, which Sony does better.
This device gets the edge of comfort. It is VERY comfortable and lightweight headset. However, after having it on for an hour or longer, that's where you noticed the most significant difference in-ear fatigue. Less ear fatigue with the Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset. You have to try them on, ideally, for extended periods.
This device is more reliable in establishing a connection without having to fiddle around with settings. The Bose Gaming Headset are fast and easy. It wasn't a big deal, but the Bose gets the edge here because it is painless and works more reliably.
I like them both and consider this a toss-up. With the Sony pair, you swipe the headphones to control the music and volume, while the Bose has hard buttons. However, after getting used to swiping on Sony's, you found it easy enough to do. This is very subjective, though. You could see some preferring the swiping while others preferring the hard buttons. It just depends on what you like. It just seems a bit rude not to do so.
Use the Bose Connect app to adjust the level of noise cancellation, enable music sharing, manage Bluetooth connections, and access software updates.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset look great. It might give a slight edge to Bose as the silver look and the Bose logo on each headphone. However, this is very subjective.
Like the previous model's battery performance, the updated Bose gaming headset is delivered on their claim of 20 hours, with room to spare. You got about 22 hours of use before you needed to plug the headphones back in to recharge. The Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset is required only about 2 hours to get their full chargeback, returning me to my happy place.
The Bose Gaming Headset integrated microphones deliver crystal-clear call quality. It was nice to make calls and not have the person on the other end complain that I sounded like I was inside a soup can. I made most of my calls from the home or office, but I was brave enough to call from the windy streets of NYC and was pleasantly surprised to hear the same clear sound quality.

Google Assistant Control for Bose Gaming Headset
Google Assistant Voice Commands
You start by interfacing the earphones to your telephone through the 'Bose Connect' application. Presently, you should press and hold the catch on the left side and talk your voice order. This is much simpler and less monotonous than going before each order with "alright Google", yet this isn't even the best piece of this mix.
Google Assistant Notifications
The best component of the Google Assistant incorporation is the capacity to get voice warnings. At whatever point you get a notice on your telephone, it is naturally addressed to you on your earphones. When instant messages are gotten, not exclusively would you be able to have the message perused to you with a solitary snap of the left catch. Still, at the same time, you're given a quick chance to send a voice-to-message reaction by holding the left catch while talking.
This permits you to perform multiple tasks like no other. The Bose Connect application permits you to pick between briefly delay your sound during the notice (so you don't miss a moment of that web recording you were tuning in to) and simply diminishing its volume whiles the notice is played.
Associating With Two Devices
Discussing performing various tasks, these earphones can be associated with two gadgets, one after another, without the bobbling and disarray that joins other Bluetooth headsets offering comparable usefulness. I have mine associated with my Android telephone and my Windows PC. Begin playing media from either gadget, and it's spelt right to your earphones.
To play from the contrary gadget, stop the current media on the principal gadget and play the new media on the subsequent gadget. It's that straightforward. Yet, to get the notices I referenced, your present association must be with your telephone.
Fit, Form, and Function
Ultimately, you may be thinking about how these earphones proceed as earphones. The appropriate response is extraordinary! Look at all the original audits for the subtleties, as I don't suspect much has changed there. They're entirely agreeable, lightweight, and they don't make your ears sweat or hurt over significant stretches of persistent use.
I clarified the left catch for collaborating with Google Assistant top to bottom, yet the media controls on the privilege are similarly valuable and instinctive. Double-tap the play/stop catch from jumping to the following track and triple-click it to return a track. The remote range, the sound quality, and the battery life of 20 hours are first-rate for such a convenient bundle.
Bose QuietComfort 35 II Gaming Headset (FAQ)
Why should you buy this?
Among the best active noise-cancelling headphones, the Bose QuietComfort 35 II is one of the best. However, its little foibles and dated hardware make the Sony WH-1000XM3 a compelling option in comparison. But you’ll have to decide for yourself if it’s better for you.
The Bose QuietComfort 35 II are the same headphones as before, except now they’re just a little better with the addition of the Assistant and active noise cancelling profiles. The ANC is still one of the best you can get at any price point, and because nothing else about these has changed, they’re still just as amazingly comfortable as they were before.
How is the build quality?
The Bose Gaming Headset is considered one of the most comfortable pairs of headphones on the market, and for a good reason. You can wear these for hours without ever feeling like you have to take them off to let your ears breathe.
How is the battery life?
Battery life also hasn’t changed from the first model, with an estimated 20 hours. That’s enough to do a coast-to-coast trip across the United States three or four times. Not bad. In our testing, we got exactly 15 hours and 46 minutes on about 80% battery. So unless you play your music at max volume constantly, you shouldn’t have an issue with these.
How is the sound quality?
First things first, nothing with the sound quality has changed here compared to the first version. Even though these have the Google Assistant and Android Oreo, Android has LDAC, aptX, and aptX HD support for higher-quality streaming via Bluetooth—you won’t find that here.
It would help if you tango with these codecs, so when one side doesn’t support a codec, they default to the standard SBC, the same as the original. That doesn’t mean it’s bad; the average person will probably find these more than great.
How is the microphone?
Like most Bluetooth headphones, the microphone on the QC35 II tends to pick up a lot of background noise, and it isn’t all that great at full-band recording. It handles the voice band acceptably well and will work for phone and conference calls just as well as expected.
